Both complete replacement engines and long block engines are available. Both engines have many standard features and options which greatly improve the abilities of this diesel power plant.

1.9 Liter Long Block: $2895.00
Engine is complete from the oil pan to the valve cover. Includes special high volume 7 quart deep aluminum or Cadmium plated steel oil pan and extended rear oil pump pick up tube. All mounts and fitting locations are the same as the original 1.5L and 1.6L engines (this engine is 16mm taller than the original 1.5L/1.6L engines.)

1.6 Liter Complete Engine: $4900.00
Standard features:
- 1.6L long block as above.- Latest Bosch Injection Pump with Electric Cold Start. - 70 amp alternator with serpentine belt drive - New exhaust manifold/heat exchanger - Self contained heat exchanger/oil cooler*- 7 quart deep aluminum or Cadmium plated steel oil pan and extended rear oil pump pick up tube - New Raw Water Pump- Starboard or Port Side Alternator Mounting.

* This exchanger preheats oil to normal operating temperatures and serves as a cooler once proper temperature is attained. The preheating function is advantageous because it helps to avoid premature oil deterioration due to frequent and short run times on some boats which use the engine only to exit and enter the harbor. These short run times do not allow the engine to attain proper operating temperatures. This prevents excess moisture and harmful residues from boiling off. By pre-heating the engine oil, the engine reaches proper operating temperature faster, resulting in better performance and longevity.
